Knox Ricksen LLP announces that Partner Thomas Fraysse and Counsel Gina Stassi have been selected for inclusion in Northern California Super Lawyers 2024 in the Health Care category by Thomson Reuters.

A Thomson Reuters rating service and publication, Northern California Super Lawyers selects outstanding attorneys from more than 70 practice areas through a rigorous, multifaceted nomination process that comprises a statewide survey of lawyers, detailed peer review and extensive research of each candidate. The objective of the selection process is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys. Approximately five percent of Northern California attorneys received this distinction.

Thomas E. Fraysse has been selected for inclusion on the Super Lawyers list each year since 2005. A former managing partner of Knox Ricksen, Tom’s practice includes the representation of victims of fraudulent practices and schemes in actions based on common law fraud, California’s Insurance Frauds Prevention Act, qui tam or whistleblower cases, and state and federal False Claims Acts. Tom has litigated more than 2,000 matters, represented parties and witnesses in more than 100 trials, and has handled hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. Tom is an active member of the Anti-Fraud Alliance, having served in numerous leadership positions, including two terms as President. He is also an Associate in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Gina Stassi appears on the Super Lawyers list for the first time in 2024, having been previously named a Rising Star from 2016-2018. Gina represents clients in qui tam actions for insurance fraud and unfair business practices against healthcare providers, clinics, management services organizations, and their conspirators. She uses her extensive skills in investigation and evaluation of financial and legal documentation to represent client interests in class actions involving violations of laws, corporate mismanagement, and breaches of fiduciary duties. Her experience includes representing major insurance carriers in coverage and bad faith litigation involving claims.
